Andrea Waters is a professional Non Executive Director and Chartered Accountant with over thirty years experience.
Andrea is a former Financial Services Audit Partner with KPMG where she specialised in the managed investments and superannuation sectors. At KPMG, Andrea managed client relationships and audits of major companies operating in the Wealth Management sector. In addition to Financial Statement Audits, Andrea completed many compliance and regulatory audits within the sector.
As the first female audit partner in the Melbourne office of KPMG, Andrea has been a positive role model for and mentored many senior female professional staff.
Andrea is currently a Non- Executive Director of Citywide Service Solutions Pty Ltd, MyState Limited, Genworth Mortgage Insurance Australia Limited, Grant Thornton Australia Limited, Bennelong Funds Management Group and Colonial Foundation. She has previously been a director of CareSuper Pty Ltd, Cash Converters International Limited, Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand, the Lord Mayors Charitable Foundation and Cancer Council Victoria. Andrea Chairs the Audit Committees of her Boards. Andrea is also an accredited facilitator of the Australian Institute of Company Directors for their Company Director Course.
Andrea holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
